If you have never heard of the Mario Badescu Facial Spray With Aloe, Cucumber And Green Tea, It is a cult status Facial Mist that claims to “refresh and re-energise tired, dull skin of a morning, offer post-cleanse toning and cool complexion on a hot, muggy day”.
If you want to read my review and thoughts of this product, then keep on reading!
I have heard a lot of beauty gurus raving about this facial spray. When I found out it was only $9AUD, I was shocked! I decided to try it as I have combination skin and struggle with constant dry spots and redness. It is also so affordable that I figured it was worth a try after hearing all the rave around this product.
The packaging is very simple in a clear plastic bottle and standard spray top. For the affordable price, you get 118ml which to me is just incredible value for a brand that I would not consider ‘drugstore’. Given the amount of liquid in the bottle, it may not be travel friendly for flying, however it is small enough to put in your handbag to use throughout the day.
How To Use
Mario Badescu says The Aloe, Cucumber And Green Tea Facial Spray can be used before moisturiser or after applying make up to keep skin hydrated. You can also use it throughout the day when you need a little boost.
I love the scent of this Facial Spray. It is a hard scent to describe but it smells very refreshing and slightly like a perfume.
The spray is quite fine and melts into the skin very quickly without leaving your face greasy or wet. I can definitely agree with its claims of re-energising dull skin as once applied, it gives a nice glow as well. I have been using this before bed, first thing in the morning and also before applying my make up. You can use this after applying make up but I would recommend using a make up setting spray first. I think it does compliment a setting spray as my make up looked better after a long period in comparison to just using a setting spray.
I love the way my skin feels when I apply it. This spray makes my face feel very soft and smooth. I tend to feel hot and flustered throughout the night and since using this spray, I have found that is really calms my face down from that hot feeling. Once I use it, my feels starts to cool down quickly.
I also struggle with random red spots on my face which this has also helped with. I wouldn’t say it has made a huge difference for me, but is has reduced it the amount of redness that I struggle with.
This product has lived up to the hype for me and I am so glad that I purchased it.
