Anastasia Beverly Hills Matte Liquid Lipstick Review:
The Anastasia Beverly Hills Liquid Lipstick range is one of my absolute favourites. There are so many stunning shades and I would honestly buy every single one if I could. There are currently over 30 shades to choose from with a unique variety of colors that you may not (easily) find anywhere else. I love how they made every lipstick look very wearable.
One of my favourite shades from the collection is Carina which is a beautiful watermelon red:
They retail for $20USD from Sephora and directly from Anastasia Beverly Hills website. In Australia, they retail for $39AUD from Sephora AU, so I definitely recommend purchasing directly from the ABH website to save some money. Their shipping to Australia is also really fast and I received my order in a matter of days.
The packaging is beautiful as always with a silver lid with gold features as well as the Anastasia Beverly Hills logo on the side of the tube. They have a small angled sponge applicator which makes it easy to apply.
Applying these liquid lipsticks is very easy as the formula is quite thin and very opaque. They are full of pigment which makes the application very quick and less fuss. I find that the lipstick dries down in a matter of a minute or two to a very matte finish.
After it has completely dried down, I do find that these liquid lipsticks sink into the cracks of my lips which I am not the biggest fan of and you can sort of feel the formula sitting on the lips.
I think its really important to exfoliate before using these. On a bad day when my lips are flaky, it is really hard to make them work and it tends to lift up and emphasise dryness. If you plan on wearing these matte liquid lipsticks, just make sure that your lips are in the best condition before applying.
Long Lasting and Transfer Proof
The upside to this formula is how transfer proof they are. If your biggest concern when buying a new liquid lipstick is if they are actually transfer proof, then I think you would love this formula. There is no tackiness or stickiness as well which makes these lipsticks quite comfortable to wear.
Say goodbye to lipstick stains on your coffee cups! Something that I love about the ABH liquid lipsticks is how long they last. They are very transfer proof with no transfer at all on cups and minimal fading with certain food.
This is a formula you’ll likely reach for on a night out due to its incredible staying power.

Benefits of Anastasia Beverly Hills Liquid Lipsticks
- Long Lasting

- Mostly Transfer Proof
- Cruelty Free
- Travel Friendly
- Dryer formula that sinks into lines
- Higher End Price Tag (Depending on where you purchase it)
I do quite like the Anastasia Beverly Hills Matte Liquid Lipsticks and I will always reach for them if I need a reliable, transfer proof lipstick. The shade range is stunning and really cant be beaten. If you’re not a fan of lipsticks that sink into cracks, I would steer clear of this formula, however it will last all day with minimal touch ups.
